Dr. Casey Damron, DVM, CVA

Dr. Casey Damron holistic veterinary team

Trained in Western and Eastern veterinary medicine, Dr. Casey Damron treats small animals using an integrative approach. He combines conventional veterinary care—including diagnostics, preventive medicine, and skilled surgical procedures—with holistic therapies such as Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM), acupuncture, herbal medicine, and other alternative modalities. This well-rounded approach allows him to tailor treatments to each pet’s unique needs, supporting whole-body health and long-term wellness.

Dr. Damron developed his love for animals while growing up on a farm in southern middle Tennessee. In 1998, he earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. After graduation, he spent six years treating both large and small animals. In recent years, his focus has shifted to small animal medicine, where he continues to blend advanced surgical skills with the healing power of integrative care.

From 2006 to 2009, he obtained additional training in Eastern Medicine at The Chi Institute in Reddick, Florida. At Chi, Dr. Damron studied under Eastern veterinary medicine expert Dr. Huisheng Xie. His studies include Chinese Acupuncture, Herbology, Food Therapy, and Tui Na.

Through his training and experience, Dr. Damron and his staff can provide the full range of veterinary services to their clients’ pets. Dr. Damron enjoys spending time on his boat with family and friends in his free time. He also enjoys camping, fishing, and volunteering with the men’s ministry at his church. He is also a devoted Tennessee Vols fan.
