A diagnosis of cancer can be a terrifying event for any pet owner. Our initial reaction includes feelings of uncertainty, fear of the unknown, and losing our companion. Although there are some types of cancer that are difficult to cure, there are many more that if not curable, can certainly be slowed to allow for a quality life for months if not years to come.
